Du`a' after Salah with the Imam

Q 2: What is the ruling on reciting Du`a' (supplication) after performing the Salah (Prayer) with the Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer)?

A: Reciting Du`a's in a group with the Imam, or pronouncing Ta'min (saying: "Amen" after reciting supplication) when he finishes supplicating after Salah is an impermissible act of Bid`ah (innovation in religion). As for a person reciting Du`a's in private in a low voice, that is permissible.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
